All of our courses are taught by American Heart Association certified instructors. AHA certifications are valid for 2 years from the time of issue.

BLS for the Healthcare Provider
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card is valid for two years. In the classroom, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.

Community CPR & First Aid
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only™ CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Family & Friends® programs are intended for members of the general public who would like to learn basic CPR, including:
families with children or elderly relatives
college-dorm resident assistants
athletes or wilderness explorers
members of volunteer organizations
residents of rural areas or locations prone to natural disasters
These programs are noncredentialed — no course card will be awarded upon completion. Anyone required by his or her employer or wishing to be credentialed as a lay responder should take a Heartsaver ® course.

Heartsaver CPR AED
This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their first aid, CPR and AED skills practice and testing.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Heartsaver First Aid
Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course covers the Four Steps of Pediatric First Aid and modules in:
Pediatric First Aid
Child/Infant CPR AED
Adult CPR AED
Asthma Care Training
The modular classroom-based course is designed to be flexible and allow Instructors to teach either Pediatric First Aid, CPR AED or both.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states. This course teaches basic first aid, CPR, and AED skills for children such as:
• What to do when a child or infant has a breathing problem
• Giving compressions and breaths to an infant or child
• Stopping bleeding that can be seen
